![]() PPS - for now, I'll go back to the main linked PS3netsvr (still the one that handles split ISOs, but, not the "latest" version), and see if I have any issues. It should not be showing "ghost" folders amd ISOs from all over my PC drives under the "Games" folder in ps3netsvr (which indeed show up on my ps3 as well) I have DVDISOs in the DVDISO folder, that is it. PS - now when I look at the tooltips on these other folders, they are all showing "C:\games", but they are actually not there on C (although I do have a c:\games folder). Note these ISO images aren't even PS3 games, of course. Note, the PS3 also gets the ISO images from my M: drive on the Webman XMB folder for PS3 Games. Before the programme can call the component, it must be 'registered' on the computer or server that is running the programme. An ActiveX component or ASP component is a DLL or OCX file containing one or more classes which can be called from a programming language that supports ActiveX. I do not have this problem with the main linked PS3NetSRV from the thread (at least not in my few times of testing). Some Notes on ASP Component / ActiveX DLL and OCX Registration. When I doubleclick the GAMES folder in ps3Netsvr (which is supposed to have NOTHING in it), it proceeds to list folders from my "M:" drive!!! Crazy, but true. I have a DVDISO, GAMES, and PS3ISO folder under this folder. On this latest verison, I am sharing "P:\foldera". it fixes a bug in my release from yesterday when multiple clients start PSXISO with different sector sizes. I then registered each component (while in Windows\SysWOW64) by typing: regsvr32 mscomctl. I opened a command prompt and ran it as an administrator, then copied mscomctl.ocx, comdlg32.ocx, and mscomct2.ocx to my Windows\SysWOW64 directory. this is the one that aldostools mentions in the thread here: I tried running an older program that uses Visual Basic runtime components (Daphne - a laserdisc emulator). I've run into an issue with the "latest build of ps3netsvr". That way if I ever did want to grab the drive and connect locally, I still could do that with no issues. So I figured it would be best to just go with Fat32 and split ISOs over the network. I'm sharing over the network and all are on NTFS (with compression) and in single file each, but, I can't get my ps3 to access these locally (due to NTFS). ![]() I think if aldostools would be kind enough to compile a new version of ps3netsvr with static libs instead of dynamic, perhaps that would make all this easier for the end user? Sure would appreciate that! But anyways, thanks again Aldostools !! I'm going to convert all my single file ISOs into split ISOs now. I just wanted to let everyone know that, in case they were also having issues. In this case, I had to copy both files into "C:\Windows\SysWOW64" instead. But I have another PC on 64-bit windows and just copying the Dlls into the folder did not work. Copying these two Dlls into the folder fixed the problem for my 32-bit Windows PC. When I found this old thread, Aldostools had linked the missing Dll files (libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll -and- libstdc -6.dll). Note the older version of ps3netsvr didn't have this issue. I ran into some issues with the "can't find libstdc -6.dll" problem. I have the quest editor and eqitems programs in there own folders on my desktop called quests and eqitems.Hi all, I finally got around to trying the split ISOs over the network, and it works perfectly! Thanks so much Aldostools ! If I click on quest exe the window does open and I click lets start and it gives me Run-time error '339':Ĭomponent 'a.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid The module "cmcs21.ocx" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80020009. ![]() The module "EZFTP.OCX" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80040200. The module "MSCOMCTL.OCX" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x8002801c. I also downloaded the quest editor and when I run register_ocx as administrator I get The modules "a.ocx" "imagelist.ocx" failed to load. I downloaded the newest eqitems editor and set my DB when I click the EQITEMS.exe a window opens with a ratman on it and I click lets start and the window goes away and thats it nothing else happens. I have everything working very nicely but I want to start customizing things. I just compiled my server yesterday and downloaded the newest DB from the repo. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
